May is flying by and I haven't even had a chance to do half of the projects I've been planning. Celebrated my birthday (see layout below if you want to know my age... grrrr) and Mother's Day the same week. Seth made me a lovely pendant from a stone he found while mining for gems on a field trip this year. Kent gave me "Photoshop Elements for Dummies" and I am looking forward to using it and FINALLY doing something with PSE7, which he gave me for Christmas!
For this layout, I used the Vintage Plum May kit, Unity stamps (from Birdie Inspiration and the Plaid Journal Box). I was inspired by a challenge from the class I'm taking at Get It Scrapped, Doris Sander's Product Pizzazz 102; we were to use "dressed chipboard" and eyelets (see the stars? when's the last time you used eyelets?).
Busy week for Tessa (and me, her "room Mom"). She "graduated" from Kindergarten at our church preschool on Tuesday and was evaluated for Jones Kindergarten the same day. Her last day of school is tomorrow and we are both feeling somewhat sad... she's been at Lawndale Children's Learning Center since she was 11 months old! I feel a layout coming on (right after I finish the cards for her teachers and the director).
And even though I don't think he ever reads my blog, I'd like to wish a belated happy anniversary to my dear husband, Kent. We've been married 14 years yesterday. Love you, Honey!

great pages Candace!--the passing of time is just SO sad, my youngest is going to be in 1st grade next year! Where did the time go?!
I love how you did the title on the birthday page. Great use of the bracket paper and those Jenni Bowlin alphas.
Love the freestyle feel of your layout and wishing you a belated Happy Birthday ;)
