Jan. Layouts

So, now Tessa will say to me: "Mom, do a layout of _____" and she'll fill in the blank with something about her (like PJ and Pancake Day at school... photos taken, no layout yet...). So funny... one of those "You know you are a scrapbooker when your child asks you to "do a layout" of them, LOL!

But I have been scrapping a lot in Jan. I'm taking Debbie Hodge's "Scrap your everyday life" class over at NYC Scraps, am participating in the "Play Challenge" at Linnecards, and I am the Feb. guest designer for Scrapbook Sussies. Can't post any Sussies layouts yet, but will put a few of my others here. I used "my" stamps on a couple of layouts, so I think I'll post those. And one of Tessa playing with Grandma's kitty, Polka Dot.

Happy New Year!

It's 2008! Wow! And what a year it will be!
To end 2007 and start 2008, we had a fun trip to Mississippi to see Grandma, and for Kent & I to attend the Liberty Bowl in Memphis (Miss. State won and the cowbells rang loudly... all 50,000 of them!) Seth & Tessa loved visiting with Grandma, cousin Jenna and of course, Grandma's 6-month old kitten, Polka Dot!

I am thrilled to be starting 2008 with some fun scrapping honors. I am the January Guest Designer at Scrapbook Circle (http://http//www.scrapbookcircle.com/gallery.php) and my stamps are the featured set over at The Scrap-room (http://www.scrap-room.com/embclub.htm#3). I have also been asked to be guest designer for another kit club in February! And it's only about 3 months until "Scrap Etc." in Nashville!
Here's a layout I did using the Scrapbook Circle kit that "sums up" our 2007:

Happy 2008!
